We do know that balloons need air, helium to be inflated in order to be used. If it is deflated, it would not be as nice compared to it being inflated. As I came to know Christ, He used me and filled me with His love, which represent the air/ helium that balloons need.
But we do know that God can do much more things than that! He would shower us unconditionally with His love and ALL!
As we are been filled with His power, we turn beautiful on the inside and out.
He reminded me that I could not do anything great without His ability and might. With His power, we could not go that far of where we are right now.
But sometimes due to some pressure, we will break down physically, mentally and spiritually. We will be like this balloon, which will be put under pressure. Sometimes by just giving up too easily, we will thence to burst.
Some might think that after a balloon had burst, it would be end of its ‘life’. Applying to our life, people would backslide and run away from the troubles that they are facing.
However, God reminded me that even though we go through a rough patch in our life, He wants us to stay faithful to Him, knowing that God will always help up to overcome every difficulties and troubles. As it says in1 Thess 3:3
That no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this.

Last night, Friday 18 September 2009, W472 had our long awaited JAPAN HOUR!
Thanks to our CGCs (Kelvin, Celine, KJ and Geraldine) who planned a week over for this event, it was a huge success with 5 new friends and we also had Monique and Chin Chee who came to join us back! It was such a fun and awesome time!!! :)
Kick start with Ice Breakers by Kelvin
It was a Japanese version of scissors paper stone!

The groups were given basic items for the sushi competition
And 400 Yen to bid for 10 extra ingredients!
10 Mins to make their sushi and tell us a short story about it!
Group 1 - Hiroshima Bomb Satellite!They bid a nice plate and a lollipop!!
The lollipop is the satellite! HAHA!
Group 2 -They bid cheese and wasabi!
Group 3 - Sushi Slayer!
To slay Monster Katsu-don! (hmm i thought katsu-don is rice?!)
They bid BBQ sauce for 230 Yen!
Group 4 - Sweet love to the end
They bid candles and created a romantic feel to it! hahaha!

Didn't get to share what happen over the week with you guys in cg
so i shall post it up on blog then !
I remember i tithed on Saturday, so when it was Tuesday and i happen to spent all my money on monday *Opps So i was having school as per-normal. During recess, i didn't ate cause
i didn't had money.Well the amazing part comes, I was walking back class when this schoolmate
which happen to be in my prayer group walked towards me and say 'hey, you want eat? here, give you' he offered. (guess i must've look vvvvvvv hungry!) Already Amazed , i walked back to class. So when school ended. I went to look for my friend, Vincent. I told him that i was hungry and immediately he put out 5$ can offered it to me, WOW.
Then i was happily eating my chicken rice when, the drinks stall aunty called out to me and offered me a FREE DRINK. Talk about walking under open heaven !
And all this happen not because of pure luck, but i believe its because i tithed !
So, start tithing and being seeing God move in your $$$ :)
FOP 09 is over but it was great while it lasted~
If you didn't go you totally missed out on Bob Fitts!!! And True Worshippers & Pst Mark Conner ^^ On the first night, Pst Mark talked about how to STOP your worries by Specifying, taking action, praying, and placing your trust in God. The joy of the Lord is our strength and worrying takes away our joy so.. no worries!
On the second night, Pst Mark shared the story about the two brothers and the father from Luke 15:11-32. I think we were all very blessed by it! The father brought both of the lost brothers back into the house because he loved them for who they are, just like God! So we should do that too ^^ Change them with love!
I didn't go for the 3rd night because school is too nice and loves throwing homework at students :( But I believe it was a great night all the same! Woooooo hope you all enjoyed FOP! Enjoy the rest of the week with SCHOOL :( Unlike some people with 7 days mc *COUGH SINEE COUGH* :( Get well soon!~

Just wanted to share a verse~
1 John 3:16-20 (NKJV)
16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 19 And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. 20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
We really shouldn't throw the word "love" around so casually. But if you mean it, say it often. People forget and need reminders. When you say "i love you" and don't mean it, it definitely can be felt and if you don't show it with your actions, who's going to believe you? :) Its harder to say "i love you" to the people you really love, and its different when you say "I love ice cream" and "I love God". Don't make empty promises!
School starts in 5 hours. This is so sad :( But anyway.. today will be a good day for you!
